In October 2023, Kim x KIM introduced its inaugural fashion collection titled “Be a Gentleman” to the Vietnamese fashion scene. Customers associate this premium bespoke fashion brand, founded by Kim Ly, with sophisticated suits that define the style of a modern gentleman. Beyond fashion, Kim x KIM shapes and influences a lifestyle, embodying values worth pursuing.

Preserving the essence of creating refined suits, and elevating fashion quality, Kim x KIM returns in early 2024 with the Spring-Summer Collection titled ‘See The Sea.’ The designs crystallize the most familiar materials associated with tropical summers. The collection’s spirit aims for a leisurely and comfortable experience while exuding the charisma of a sophisticated man who has lived and experienced life.

The collection is divided into two product lines: Daywear and Nightwear. Daywear is bright and dynamic, inspired by vacations by the blue sea and golden sun. In contrast, Nightwear is mysterious and alluring, evoking melodies from the Mediterranean during sunset. Day and night coexist, taking turns, leaving us yearning for an endless and enchanting summer.

Kim x KIM cleverly utilizes fabrics from the renowned brands Loro Piana and Piacenza when choosing materials for this comeback. These brands have been famous for a century in the fashion capital of Northern Italy. In the endless flow of time, Loro Piana and Piacenza remain associated with extravagant parties and idyllic summer gatherings by the Mediterranean coast.

Creating this collection was a long journey filled with countless difficulties and challenges for the Kim x KIM team. The skilled tailors of the brand traveled to various locations in Quang Binh to search for creative materials for the collection. Upon arriving here, we were amazed by the breathtaking beauty of Vietnam’s nature, so the team decided to capture the new collection’s images in this place.

All of this seeks creativity and crystallizing inspiration, infusing the delicate essence of tropical coastal regions into each garment in the Spring-Summer 2024 collection - ‘See The Sea.’ Looking back now, we know we were on the right path, as this collection truly holds significance in Kim x KIM’s creative journey.
